“The UCLH Coaching & Mentoring service exists to embed coaching in the way colleagues learn and develop at UCLH. At the onset of the Pandemic, Kimberley Lotery from One Mind Coaching marshalled her talents and contacts and helped us do just that in the face of challenging times.

Kimberley’s swift action meant almost 70 of the Trust’s (mostly) clinical colleagues gained access to up to 5 sessions from a range of over 100 external executive coaches. Pro bono.

We are grateful to Kimberly for all her work in this time.

When generous actions follow generous thinking, we see and experience the best in all our people. “

#COACH4NHS Coaching initiative for NHS frontline workers

Kimberley approached me at the beginning of the Covid crisis with the idea that coaching might be valuable at this time for frontline NHS staff. She set up an initiative and rallied a large number of professional coaches from her community to offer pro bono coaching during the Covid outbreak to support frontliners. We worked together to offer this initiative to my anaesthesia and intensive care colleagues at UCLH as well as other hospitals. It was a very positive thing to be involved with, and enthusiastically taken up by my colleagues and myself, the latter prompting me to commence a coach training and certification later this year. Kimberley was particularly enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable about managing the whole process and with a dedication to ensure its’ successful set up and completion; and given some of the experiences that were being faced by the Drs and Nurses on the frontlines- Supervision was also arranged for the Coaches.

Feedback from my colleagues has been very positive so far and I’d be delighted to work again with Kimberley in the future.”
